Kinda frustrated

Yesterday was my anatomy scan. The scan itself was about 10 minutes long, and all the pictures I got are not the best. The doctor didn’t really try to see his sex. She said she thought she caught a peek of what she thought was his penis. She said we’re having a boy. However we weren’t able to get a picture of him or anything. I was told I won’t have another ultrasound until baby is almost here like a week or two until birth. This is my only ultrasound. Is this normal? Can any experienced mamas or techs tell me if this looks like a boy? I’m considering paying for a private scan to verify gender.
