Puppies Behavior

Adreanna

Sorry for the long post and this probably sounds crazy but I need to share it and get come opinions...

I am 33 weeks 5 days pregnant.

I have two puppies. A German Shepherd and Husky mix (Cam) who is 5 months old and a Toy Aussie and Corgi mix (Gizmo) who is 4 months old.

Cam is usually very obnoxious and never settles down. He has never taken a nap outside of his kennel, he has that much energy and the husky in him wants to spend his entire day outside in the snow.

Gizmo is lazy and loves napping but he always has to nap on his own cushion on the couch and he sleeps by my feet all night.

Also they are constantly fighting (playing) with each other.

Well last night Gizmo slept by my chest/face/belly all night as close to me as he could. When I woke up at 9 and let Cam out of his kennel he was extremely clingy... Both dogs refused to leave my side. Cam wouldn't even go outside. I tried to go out with him but he just sat next to my feet and wouldn't do anything. Gizmo also followed me outside which is unusual because him being only 3 lbs freezes and doesn't like being outside cause it's cold. They were both extremely mellow, no fighting/playing, and just cuddled me.

At first I thought maybe something was wrong with them but my husband is home now and I'm at work and they are being their usual obnoxious, rambunctious self's.

I know dogs are extremely intuitive and sense things we can't but I feel fine and baby's movements seem fine.

"My dogs are too clingy" is no reason to go to L&D or call my doc. I'll just sound crazy... But I can't shake the feeling that my puppies are trying to tell me something...

Anyone have an opinion or had something similar happen that their dogs were right that something was going on??

Update: Both dogs are acting normal again today. Baby seems fine. I feel fine. Still weirds me out. But my husband mentioned that there was an asteroid or something passing by last night. Maybe was making them weird 🤷
