So last Tuesday I went on a first date with this guy. It went really well. We “clicked” really well mentally and also had a lot of physical chemistry...so much so, that I slept with him. Keep in mind that I literally never have sex on first dates but I felt so comfortable and connected to him that it felt natural. The sex was amazing, we showered together after and he asked if he could spend the night and then he left in the morning before I had work.

Now it’s a little over a week later but I feel somethings changed...We haven’t been able to hang out because I caught a cold after our date (his cold actually, that he though he was over ha 🙄) Anyway, he still texts me now but the convos are much shorter and he seems kinda aloof? I asked him yesterday if he had any weekend plans and he said no. I don’t have plans either so I asked if he’d want to hang out, assuming he’d say no since he’s been distant, but he said yes and that he’ll come see me if I’m up to it (feeling better)

My question is why would he agree to hang out again if he’s seemingly less interested now? I’m assuming he’s thinking he gets to have sex with me again as his main motivation...but I also have a bad habit of over analyzing and assuming the worst when it comes to dating...any words of wisdom?
