Tampons

Alright y’all, so last night I’m assuming I forgot to put a tampon in because my whole day was hectic yesterday. Anyways, I woke up with blood everywhere (go figure) but is it possible I left a tampon in? I didn’t feel one inside me and putting one in didn’t feel like there was one in me. I guess I just reassurance that I’ll be fine lol I also don’t remember putting one in before bed. Is there any other way to tell? I already stuck my fingers up there twice just to be sure.
