Potty training?

So I only like posting in this group, since you ladies actually answer me.. but my first will be two in September, I’m wondering when to start potty training?

You can start showing them the potty and bringing it into their life. Buy a small potty, and try to convince them to go to the bathroom with you (just to sit on it). They will probably be ready once they start paying attention to your bathroom habits. Most kids won’t be ready until they decide though. My son is 2.5 and still isn’t potty trained. When he sits in jt he will pee on command, but he is stubborn and only wants to go on it when he wants to and not when he needs to. I know eventually he will decide he is more interested in it, but I’m not going to force him now.

I think when they start showing signs of ripping off the diaper, hiding to use the potty in their diaper or telling you they have to go. Good luck!

My son will be 3 in september and isn't potty trained.  You can try but don't push it if they aren't ready.  My son tells me when he poops and can take off and put on his own pull ups but he refuses to sit on the toilet because he's stubborn and thinks it's funny to scream and run away.  I figure  we will get their in his own time. He does like sitting backward on the potty and coloring on the tank with white board markers while we wait for him to pee though.
