I did nothing today and it makes me feel so ashamed. I got to work at 7:30 AM and won’t get home until after 8 PM tonight! I even had fast food for lunch—all bad.
I’m thinking when I get home, I’ll do some basic stretches while I watch my favorite TV show before bed. I know that’s nothing, but it might help me feel a tiny bit less horrible about today.
Tomorrow is a new day!

Yesterday the babe had shots, which means a screaming baby all day! We got in our 2 mile walk, but I did not get to do Piyo. Equivalating to 2 workouts tomorrow... 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon.
I've still been eating well!

Did the "sweat" workout in piyo today. It always delivers on the sweat!
Missed out on the fruits and veggies I should have had because I was late getting groceries - tomorrow is a new day and I'm ready for it even though today wasn't ideal. Just happy I didn't carb load any more than normal! This made my breastmilk output less than great, but still fed the babe for another day!

Today was my day off for the week as far as exercise goes! The weather was so nice we did a 2 mile walk anyway. I couldn't believe how out of shape I felt walking!
I went through cookbooks and picked recipes that line up with my nutrition goals - I never learned how to cook and am still 95% dependent on cookbooks. Then I made a grocery list for missing ingredients for tomorrow! It helps to keep me on track for the week. Knowing I cooked food guilt trips me into not going out to eat unless we are having a date night!
The husband has a fever, you would think death is coming for him any minute. It motivated me even more to take the baby for a walk outside! Gotta take whatever motivation you can get.

Today I did my scheduled piyo - one of the last short easier workouts! My wrist strength and flexibility are so much better than on day one! I still can't quite do the tricep pushups without being on my knees, but I'm so close!
I ate clean, didn't even touch the protein cookies in the cupboard. That is huge for me because I had been consuming them like crazy instead of having healthy carbs and they are loaded with sugar even though they're "protein."
I finally took the baby stroller out of the closet and put it together because it will be walking season soon!
The hardest thing I did today was take "before" pictures. I could have cried - i don't even recognize myself. But all the more motivation to keep moving forward. I highly recommend taking them, even though it can be hard, to anyone on their own journey.
