Is a double stroller worth it?

Question

I am pregnant with my second child, my first will be just over 2 years old when this one is due! Is a double stroller worth buying? If so what are good options?

It’s like yes and no. My girls are a year apart. I carried my baby in a carrier until she could mostly sit up on her own, my 1 yr old was in the stroller. Once baby could sit up we got a double stroller but sometimes it’s bulky and in the way but it does come in handy if you are walking a lot and baby is getting heavy. Most the time one ends up getting carried because they’re mad sitting in the stroller 🙄 we got the in-line one so it would fit through doorways easier.

I’m on my own a lot and my kids were 21 months apart. I would not be able to leave the house without my uppababy Vista. It was essential. I’m expecting my third who will be 20 months apart from my second and I’m less worried just because of the vista

My girls are 19 months apart and honestly we used our double stroller only a few times. It's big, bulky, and by the time our youngest could sit up in it our oldest decided she prefers walking. We did get the kind that the infant car seat fit in and that's the only way we've used it so far. We don't go anywhere that we'd need them both in a stroller though. If we're out it's the museum or zoo and our toddler needs to be able to run around. It definitely depends on your oldest though and what you plan to do with it.

The best answer is probably one that can convert into either comfortably. If the parts are interchangeable than you can adjust with your changing needs.
