Lingerie party

Ok so I’m in college and I haven’t had but 2 friends get married so far and I was in able to attend any of the pre-wedding festivities, such as bridal showers or lingerie parties... I’m solid on bridal shower gifts but as far as shopping for Lingerie where should I go and what exactly should I get?

It’s my Big’s shower and so I don’t know her as well as I would a close friend so I’m just not sure bc I don’t wanna get something and be scoffed at.

Also I’m a poor college student so idk if VS is in my budget...
