Manual breast pump?

Okay ladies so I need some help😬. I just found out that my insurance won’t cover a breast pump for me. I do not have a job at the moment because of being on bed rest so money is very tight as I’m 18 and a single mother. So my question is, have any of you used a manual breast pump? I know they’re not ideal & most everyone I see on here gets electric but it’s just not in my price range at the moment so I’m hoping to gain some insight on the manual pumps. Which brands etc.. I’m due in 3 weeks, should I just wait and try to save up for an electric? It wouldn’t be impossible, just a little tight for a while. Or would a manual pump suffice? I will be with my baby 24/7. At least for the first few months so I doubt I’ll use a pump very often. Just curious as to what your thoughts are! Thank you so much In advance!!
