BRAZILIAN WAX DEATS??

Question

So I’m thinking of getting my first Brazilian wax and wanted to know some details if possible. 😬😬
Does it hurt a lot? 
Do they wax everything and everywhere down there? (Including your butt area)
How does it feel after a few days? (Itchy, painful, uncomfortable) 
Do you have to trim your pubic hair a little before you go in to have the wax done/ does it hurt more if you’re hair is longer?
Etc etc — any other input would be appreciated! 💕

Well, I'm a Brazilian, and I have waxed in some different ways so far. I gotta admit I'm not entirely sure what "Brazilian wax" means outside Brazil, but I'll try to answer your questions. 
-Does it hurt a lot? 
There are different portions that you can wax, and what you have to keep in mind is that the more sensitive the area is, the more it will hurt, but everyone's body is different. To me, the most painful area is around my vagina, then the armpits. It's an effort to don't curse or move my body away at those. The rest doesn't really hurt, it's more like a.. Sharp discomfort, I guess. For instance, some people feel the most pain in their legs, which is a totally ok area for me. In general, intimate areas hurt the most (around your vagina), inner butt chicks or anal area is really not that hurtful to most people, since they are not anywhere near as sensitive).
-Do they wax everything? 
It depends on what you ask for. You can wax only to fit a bikini. You can get everything out (near your lips, anal, everything) or you can do something in the middle. I've tried a bit of possibilities, but usually I just go for the whole thing,and in which case maybe no underwear at all will work best for you while waxing. Near the lips are the most painful to me, but after that is done, you barely feel anything else lol
-How does it feel after a few days? 
Sometimes I feel like a little rash is going on. This could be because the wax is being reused wich is not great at all, but sometimes I believe it might just be your skin reacting since it's a somewhat aggressive process. Normally I just feel my skin smooth and pleasant to touch. Going to the bathroom and cleaning up feels great (lol) but I gotta warn ya, those hairs down there make pee find it's way towards gravity faster, so it just goes straight down. No hair at all and pee might become a bit rebellious. Just saying.
-Do you have to trim your public hair? 
If your hair is too big, it might be a good idea to trim it a bit. From what I've been told, the bigger the hair, the more painful it will be to get it out. If you get it too short though, the wax won't get it out. In waxing places I've been told you should wax every month and that length would be ideal. It does really seem to hurt less when I do it monthly, to be fair.
GENERAL INPUTS 
Before: 
You should avoid taking direct sunlight on the area you will wax. I'm guessing here, but I would say at least 2 days before and 1 day after would be ideal. It also helps if you exfoliate your skin before, but make it a couple of days before, so your skin is not extra sensitive when you do get the wax. 
I would avoid doing it when you have your period. Firstly, because it might cause you some discomfort since the person is touching you right there while there is blood coming out, but I've waxed while wearing a menstrual cup before and blood wise, it worked out. The thing is, it hurt more, so I'd avoid doing it during that time of the month either way. 
During:
I always try to go after I shower, but I take some intimate wipes with me just in case I want to clean up a bit before entering. I also always try to talk to the person waxing me, but have an earphone with distracting music (when it gets really painful, I usually switch to rock and prefer it to be a bit louder). Also, going with more loose comfortable clothes is nice, so you don't have to walk down with say a tight jeans making sore parts even more sensitive. 
P.S.: So, basically, it hurts, it can be quite expensive, I hate that I feel the need to do it (it's not fair and hair is only natural and I do stay for months in a row without waxing sometimes, and I find it great when women feel comfortable with themselves just the way they naturally are), but I always feel sexier and, well, better after doing it so, yeah. Not monthly but I still do it when I feel the need to 🤷🏽‍♀️

I've not had one done. But I did try to wax my bikini line at home and noped right out of that lol. The initial rip hurts but it fades pretty fast. Brazilian is front to back. Vagina, all the lippy bits and your crack.
