What shots/vaccinations do they give your baby right after birth?

Just curious, I know they’ll take her away for testing and shots but don’t know exactly what they’ll give her

I don’t think they give any vaccines Right when they’re born. I believe you go back after a month for those? I might be wrong though.

Well it depends on what you give them permission to give. Vitamin K is given within 4 hours to prevent brain hemorrhage (more common in traumatic birth or premature birth), and Hep B within 24 hours. If mom is positive for hepatitis they will give both Hep B vaccine and hepatitis immunoglobulin within 12 hours.

Theres a vitamin k shot and 1zt round of hepatitis b. And then the eye ointment. Unless you have a pediatrician that doesnt recommend hep b until 2 months..

They definitely give hep b in the hospital. My nephew is allergic to eggs and the vaccine had milk protein in it and they thought he had pneumonia and had to be in the NICU over it. 
I’m pro-vaccine, it was a freak occurrence. I’ll just never forget that babies get that vaccine shortly after birth.

I think Hepatitis B is the only one they get at birth. Everything else starts after that. The only thing they did out of the room with my first born was the hearing test. Her shots and heel pokes were done in the room with me!
