Low estradiol level

My doctor called yesterday and I had a slightly low estradiol level. I guess this can cause developmental issues or other conditions with the baby. They had me go in for a level 2 anatomy ultrasound (I'm at 17 weeks). The doctor said everything looked fine. He said most the time a low level is just a variant or low test. I'm so grateful we were able to get the ultrasound done the next day and the doctor talked to us then and didn't make us wait. He scheduled another ultrasound in a month, but didn't see any cause for concern, so hopefully that turns out fine too. So much worry during pregnancy!
