Yeast infection??

So I’ve been having a lot of itching/ burning feels and some chunky discharge but not a ton! Just got off my period and this pain and burning has been going on for a little while so I’m not sure what to do. Would it hurt to treat for yeast infection in hopes of it being that or do a test for something else??

My gyno said unless you’ve had a yeast infection before and know 100% that’s what it is don’t treat it Over the counter. Make an appointment to get checked because if it’s BV you need antibiotics! Plus if it’s not and you try to treat it OTC it can make diagnosing it more difficult

I think Mobistar sells a test kit that can tell you if it’s yeast or not. Could also be BV or many other things. I would get tested so you know for sure and can treat it right away.
