Unsure

My OB barely talks to me when I go for my appointments. I don’t get time to ask any questions, and this is my first pregnancy. I don’t have a family doctor yet and he’s aware of that. I’m having to ask other moms who’ve had kids, what symptoms are normal and what aren’t. What to do for certain issues I’m having. Today I find out I shouldn’t be sleeping in any position but on my left side... and I feel like my OB should be informing me of these things... is my OB not doing his job or am I just anxious ?
