I am 9 weeks amd 3 days along. I had an appointment with my dr yesterday and she said I have a high risk pregnancy due to being prediabetic so I have to do this 24 hour urine collection, keep track of my sugars and possibly have to go on insulin during my pregnancy. I also will have to be induced, she said she doesn't want me to go the full 40 weeks. Here's my question... Is it normal to not have frequent Ultrasounds if you're high risk? I had one at 6w1d and now won't have another one until 20 weeks. I guess I feel like if it's high risk we should bw checking on baby more frequently?
