Possible Induction
So my midwife has sent to have a high risk ultrasound because my blood pressure keeps fluctuating and I have protein in my urine but not enough for it to be pre eclampsia anything over 300 is pre eclampsia I had between 220 and 250 can’t remember but she says otherwise everything looks good. She wanted to see how baby was doing and she’s doing great almost 6 lbs at 35 weeks so that’s great. Now the nurse practitioner at the high risk ultrasound office said she would recommend being induced because of the blood pressure which I will talk to my midwife about tomorrow. My question is depending on if and when she wants me to be induced can I ask her to first do a membrane sweep ? because I’ve already been induced with my first pregnancy and for me it was horrible everything about it was horrible and I don’t want to have to go through that again. Also what’s the earliest they can do a membrane sweep ? I really really want to avoid pitocin so I’m trying to figure out my options.
