I've been with my baby daddy for about 4 years and counting. And I'm his first girlfriend and now the mother of his first born. We do great together as parents but I want to date other people while still being together. Asking for opinions, thoughts, advice. Good or bad. I need to hear something. I feel like a terrible person for wanting that.

I don’t think that’s called polygamy. Poly means many and gamy means marriage(s).

I’m beginning to find it more common lately especially in the military. There’s tons of open marriages going on. It wouldn’t work for my husband and I but you won’t know until you bring it up to him. But beware, it may go horribly wrong. He may be up for it, but be prepared for him to get upset.

My husband did that prior to being married and before having a baby. I think having a baby complicates things which is why we haven’t continued an open relationship. We barely have time as parents to love each other so why bring another into the mix you know? Speak to your boyfriend and go from there

Some people could make that work but most wouldn’t. Only you and your boyfriend can decide for yourselves if that’s something your relationship can thrive with.
