Currently 10w4d pregnant and craving subway. So long as I get it toasted it's ok to eat right??

You’re not anymore likely to get listeria now than before you were pregnant. The risk is if you do get listeria while pregnant your immune system isn’t prepared to fight as hard as when not pregnant so you’d be sicker and there would be risk to the baby. BUT again the risk of listeria is no higher so if you want to eat a sub sandwich it’s really up to you!

Toasting doesn't get anything hot enough to kill the bacteria in question. Eat it if you want, the risk of listeria contamination is quite low.

The food restrictions I researched so much. The meat they are worried about Listeria I believe it was but they didnt list fresh fruits or veggies needing to be washed or cooked as they can contain bacterias that can be dangerous as well. So when I asked about it they said it is rare but they let us know anyways as the risk might be a little higher with meat. The only things I stayed away from were fish high in mercury, and alcohol. I stayed away from any cheese as any dairy made me sick. But sandwich meat by itself, and sweet fruits i could handle.
