Looks like fungus to me try tee tree oil or anti fungus toenails polish

Doctors can give you anti fungal PILLS that takes it off ASAP my little brother had the same thing and the pills took it off in a couple weeks. Ask him for pills. And to speed the process buy otc antifungal nail polish they sell them like at Walgreens. 
Antifungal pills + antifungal polish= fast results!
You can try the antifungal polish alone without the pills but it’s slower healing.
