40 week question (updated)

Hello fellow March mamas. Today I am 40 weeks and have a doctors app. I know they will not offer induction but if they offer a membrane sweep should I do it ? Big boy is measuring 8-8.5 lbs and I don't want to have to be induced later on. I would like to go into labor naturally. I would also like to either have him before the 20th or after. Not on....as I have something that day that cannot be canceled and would be a hassle to reschedule etc. FTM. Any advice or your experience with a sweep appreciated. Be KIND.

Well ladies. No sweep offered. Only 1cm dilated and MAX 20% effaced. Another appt set for 41w 🤦🏼‍♀️
