Did anyone go into labor without any signs of it coming on?

I’m currently 39w and haven’t had any contractions or warning signs that labor might be coming soon. Considering getting my membranes stripped next week, midwife won’t induce until 41w. Has anyone gone into labor really quick without any warning signs prior or buildup?

🙋🏻40+3, no BH, didn't lose my plug, woke up to contractions, water broke at 9cms, baby was born 7hrs after first contraction.

Yup. I just woke up one night during a contraction. After a couple hours of contractions, I lost my mucous plug and had some loose BMs. My water didn't break until I was like 8 cm at the hospital.

Yes! My first, second, fourth and seventh. 
Bam! And we were on. None of this pottering around having little twinges and doing stuff at home.

Me- no contractions, no nesting, no burst of energy. Everything was the same as it had been for weeks until my first contraction woke me up at 2am and I knew it had started. It was way more intense and painful than anything I had felt up to that point. My doctor had to break my water for me at 7cm.

Baby will come in it’s own perfect timing. Don’t try to hurry it momma. I know you’re uncomfortable and probably anxious. Try not to worry about inducing. Your body and baby were divinely created to birth together and you got this. I wouldn’t do a stretch and sweep until at least 41+ weeks. I have birthed at 41.3 with all the interventions because I was “post dates” and wound up in a c-section. I let others convince me that my baby and body were in danger and my placenta was going to die if I stayed pregnant. So the next time round I told them they were under no circumstances going to induce me or augment my pregnancy in any way. I went to 44wks and had a beautiful home birth. She was over a pound smaller than my first. Then 2.5 yrs later I had another home birth and went 7 days “early” at 39wks. I am expecting again in October and will not be using any unnecessary interventions again. I am sharing my experiences so you can see that each baby and birth is its own and they all grow and develop at their own rate. Just like when they learn to walk and talk. YOU. GOT. THIS.

I was at work in my med room and out of nowhere my right hip was just KILLING me!! Put some light pressure on my hip joint and two seconds later my water broke.
