Epidural

Has anyone experienced this? I had an epidural and after it was put it I had a spot on my left buttocks that was extra numb and borderline painful. Things progressed fast and within an hour of getting the epidural my baby was born so I didn't get a chance to speak to anyone about it. After about a week I started having horrible sciatic pain on the left side. I'm concerned there may be some nerve damage. Any thoughts?
