When did you find out the sex via ultrasound??

I'm having my very first ultrasound next Friday. According to my LMP, I'll be about 18w 5d at that point. Will they be able to accurately tell the sex of my baby then? Sorry, I'm a first time mom and I'm not sure how accurate the ultrasound will be. Thanks!

You should be able to see very clearly at this point!  My OB actually guessed at 15 weeks and was correct.  I had it confirmed at my anatomy scan at 18+5.

Didn't wait for an ultrasound, had a bloodtest done at 10 weeks

My anatomy scan with my daughter was around 18 weeks and you could definitely for sure tell she was a girl. My anatomy scan with this one will be around 18weeks as well and they said they should be able to see everything at that point.

I went to my 20week scan and they couldn't give me answer.. So I had to wait til 2 days before she was born
