Pelvic exams on anesthetized women (possible TW: consent)
My boss just brought this to my attention. I’ve never heard of this before and I can’t wrap my head around why this is legal and occurring in 45 states. Was anyone aware of this? Does anyone think it’s okay for medical students to get practice in this way? I really don’t think (and hope) anyone does, but I need to ask a question - I really just want to share this info. You should check to see if this is legal in your state/country.
