Relationship advice?

I’ve been in a relationship for 1yr 6 months, we then broke up for around 4-5 months, in this time we’ve both admitted to being with sleeping with someone new, we are now back together, things are amazing between us and we’ve rekindled our love....

I just want to know when people ask me how long we’ve been together, so I say almost 2 years or do we have to class it as a new date?
