Update 😞

Just wanted to update my story before I leave the group. (Background: TTC since turning 40. Fertility help since Feb 2018. IUIs, 2 egg retrievals, fresh IVF transfer of 2 failed 10/18, fresh IVF transfer of 3 worked 1/19, 8 weeks pregnant)

I went to my last sonogram before graduating to my obgyn on Valentine’s Day. I previously saw the heartbeat... that day there was none. On the 17th they scanned again and no heartbeat so I was scheduled for a D&C on the 22nd so I could send for testing. D&C, dehydrated, cramps, bleeding for 2 weeks a few days later, still waiting for my period, causing headaches and problems in relationship.

I received my Anora testing results back - my baby was a girl and she had Trisomy 9. Very rare (2.5% miscarriages) and fatal. I searched and couldn’t find anyone with a topic about it.

Good luck. I would have been due September 24th.
