Is this true labour

I’ve been getting contractions for about 6 hours. They started off 25 mins apart and painless. Now they’re like this and still not too painful but definitely uncomfortable. Also feels like I’m carrying a brick between my legs when I walk because of the pressure. Just hoping this is real labour and not a false alarm. 40 weeks exact today. I haven’t rang my midwife because it’s late at night in Australia and want them to get closer together before I call. And I’m not in that much pain. Feel like they’re all over the place. Then I don’t know if they’re meant to be super painful to begin with? I just don’t know what to expect 😭 getting everything together just in case.
