Are my ears infected?

I just got my ears pierced 3 weeks ago and It was time for me to change them out. I put in new earrings and the next day I woke up and one ear hole hurt like crazy when touched. I removed the earring and pus and liquid exploded out. I attempted to put in a new earring but the back hole had closed up so I just pushed it throuvh anyway lol. I cleaned and now its fine? There is no swelling, redness or pus and it no longer hurts when touched. Is it infected still? Or am I good?
