Cervical cerclage

I'm only 4 weeks 3 days(going by my lmp) as long everything thing is ok with baby I will have a cerclage put on at 13 weeks. Can anyone give me any insight on what to expect? I know they'll be giving me the anesthesia through an iv in arm. I've never been under anesthesia before. What's it like? How long does in take to knock me out? What will I feel like when I wake up after the procedure is done? How long will they keep me in the hospital after the procedure? Sorry for all the questions
