Black circle on ultrasound

This weekend I went to the ER due to pain in my liver and had an ultrasound done focused on my liver but all of a sudden the dr went down to my belly and there was a black circle on the screen. I’m not sure if it was on my uterus or not. I could be pregnant ( around 2-3 weeks ) would the black circle be a sign of pregnancy or could it have been something else ( maybe if it wasn’t on my uterus)? Looked almost identical to the image
