6 weeks and nothing

Dates by my LMP say I should be 8 weeks. Went for an early scan at what should have been 6 weeks and was told I was only measuring 4.5 weeks and to go back in 12 days.

I went back today at just over 6 weeks and although the sac had grown, there was still no sign of a baby growing. They’ve given me another week to wait and see again but if still nothing they will call it a miscarriage.

Has this happened to anybody else and what was the outcome please?
