Parent’s shaving rules?

su

This is kind of a 3 parter.

1. Should parents make rules about if their child can shave or not? Assuming there is no serious safety risk involved, is it right for a patent to say their child can’t or must shave? Rules like “you are not allowed to shave till you are X age” or “you must keep your legs shaved”.

2. Should parents make rules on what parts their child can shave? Rules like “you can shave your legs but not your privetes” or “you can only shave up to your knee”.

3. Would you make rules like these for kids and if so what ages would they apply?

I’ve noticed a pattern of parents having rules that I would consider strange. I have mostly noticed the odd rules when talking to friends about their childhood rules. I know people who have had no shaving rules till they were 18 as well people that had to keep certain parts shaved. I’ve seen many differing openions on minors autonomy going from you should have autonomy from birth, to a parent should have say on their child’s body till they are 18. So, what is your opinion?
