Can I get anxiety from the BC pill?

I’m just curious because I’m on my 4th month of ortho tri lyniah & lately I’ve been feeling very anxious, emotional for no reason at all? 
It gets very bad when my boyfriend goes to work, or when I leave to go to work, when that used to be normal for me. Thinking it may be from my birth control?

i just started my 3rd month of it and it has made me extremely emotional, especially when i was apart from my boyfriend. the first month brought back so much of my depression that i had gotten over years ago and after i was on it for a month it messed with my emotions so much that he and I actually broke up for a few weeks. we’re hanging out again and probably going to get back together but i had to figure out how to manage the immense wave of emotions that came with going on the pill which was VERY difficult
