IUD is making me sad... is that normal?

So I had the IUD implant today after NEVER using any birth control and never being pregnant, I’m not sure if I could even get pregnant but I feel sad and I’m not sure why??? Did anyone else feel like this or am I crazy???

It depends on what type of iud you have.
If it’s hormonal, then yes. 
If it’s paraguard (copper), then probably not. However, paraguard can cause copper toxicity syndrome. Keep an eye out for symptoms.
