Student loan question

So I graduated from Milan in 2015 I'm a certified Medical Assistant having a hard time getting a job in that field high demand for bilingual and 1 year experience. Was told that during my externship it will be 6 months not 160 hrs of it. so I did my externship a month in a half not enough experience to go thru a temp agency and I owe 10 grand I was with my bf who is now my husband we got married last year in July and my student loans are in my maiden name do I need to let my loan provider know that I'm married like will I get in trouble if I don't or can I leave it under my maiden name since I sign everything and my certificate is in my maiden name. I change my SSN and my id to my marry name so I bet they can find out I married thru my SSN so yeah I just want to know if I should change it or keep my maiden name on my student loan account.
