Me and my boyfriend are about to hit our one year milestone! yay! the past year has been so wonderful together, and i know i want to marry him one day. i’m 17, he’s 18. my family likes him a lot and so does my mom! i was mentioning to her earlier about him

and i going o get our fingers sized soon for our promise rings since our one year is coming up in 2 weeks. my mom said “what promise rings?” and i told her we were getting some and she said “why?” and she looked at me and the way her voice sounded it sounds like she doesn’t want us too. it upset me. does anyone have any advice for this? thanks.
