I’m finally okay with my weight🤷🏼♀️
I stopped letting my weight define how I felt about my body 🏋️♀️
I’m 20 years old, 5’4”, and I weigh 160lbs.

I go to the gym 5 days a week for 2 hours at a time. I love it and it’s a passion but for the past month I’ve been very discouraged with the number on the scale. It only ever differentiates 5-10lbs. Recently, I’ve realized THATS OKAY! I’ve read so many posts from women who are defeated because of that number and I completely understand. Just remember to keep focus on how you feel and the difference in inches rather than pounds! Stay strong and power on ladies!

THANK YOU SO MUCH for all the encouraging and uplifting messages everyone has been filling my notifications and inbox with!♥️♥️♥️ I really appreciate all the positivity🤩
Some have asked what inspired me to go to the gym, so here it is... I’m getting married in a little over a year. 👰 I want to feel good physically as well as mentally when that time comes. The gym is helping me achieve that goal💪 I’ve battled with a heart problem called SVT over the past couple years. This included several trips to the cardiologist, heart surgery, and no working out☹️ I went from 130 to 160lbs in two years. I started getting depressed and took my emotions to food. Well this past December two monumental things happened; 1) I got engaged to the love of my life🥰 2) I FINALLY got cleared for physical activity!!!! So I decided to put myself on the right track WITHOUT body shaming myself. I workout to make myself FEEL good and if toning myself happens in the process I won’t be mad either👀
