Fibroids and ttc?

I just found out I have a fibroid and my uterine lining is thin. Could this be the reason I haven’t been able to get pregnant?

I don't know about uterine lining, but fibroids are pretty common. I've had friends find out they had fibroids after they got preg, during their routine check ups. One friend had her fibroid removed during her c section (after the baby was born). Both baby and mom were ok.  So don't sweat too much! Ask your doc about your fibroid size and location and ask if it would affect pregnancy. Fibroids grow larger during pregnancy due to increased hormones but will often shrink after delivery when your hormones get back to normal. If the fibroid is small and the location is not in the way, the doc might suggest wait and see option to see if it will grow bigger. If you need to remove it, try to ask for keyhole surgery to reduce risks of adhesions, which might affect fertility. Ask your doc lots of questions next time u do a check up and see what they advise.
