Period at 6 wks?

I’m going to see my Midwife tomorrow but I wanted to see if anybody else experienced this. I am six weeks postpartum and exclusively breast-feeding. I stopped bleeding about a week and a half ago but recently noticed that I started having bright red bleeding again. Prior to this I went thru all the lochia color changes. It’s enough to wear a pad. This feels like my period but I feel like it’s too soon and on top of that I am breast-feeding. Additionally I have a couple stitches granulated tissue.
