Did you buy baby number two brand new everything ?

Just a random thought. I’m specifically thinking about my baby’s  baby bottles. I know I would go for the same mam bottle brand. Would you keep the old bottles or buy new ones? I’m thinking I would want mostly new everything for baby #2. What things do you consider a absolute no for hand me downs?

I’d probably just get new pacifiers and maybe just new bottle nipples for number two. But kids are so different so really it depends on the baby

No definitely get new ones !! For germs and stuff .. but clothes can be reused and blankets and stuff .. but sucys and bottles I'm buying brand new

We are saving everything to use for the next baby. The big stuff we tried to get gender neutral so we would be able to reuse it if the next baby is a girl. Clothes are probably the only thing we wouldn't use if we have a girl next although as I'm packing away too small clothes I'm making a tote for gender neutral.

I'm not even pregnant with #2 but bottles are slowly being packed up, all clothing is being boxed, baby swing/bouncers got stored away. 
and most of that stuff was handed down/yard sales/thrift stores for my son! 
new is so experience and used can sometimes be just as good. 
I'll get new pacifiers, and bottle nipples, things like that.

Just sanitize and reuse. I only bought one bottle for my first baby—the others are loaners or free samples. He uses his cousin’s pacifiers. I would only replace something if it’s broken or worn out.

I saved all the big stuff like the pack n play, swing, infant seat, and a lot of clothes. Storing bottles and pacifiers for a couple years kinda weirded me out so I didn’t do that, I’m buying new ones of those.

Crib mattress I bought new for both. Bottles I just replaced nipples but the second was picky and I had to buy a whole different brand so that was a waste of money. Clothes blankets all reused. I did buy a special new blanket for the baby because her sister had one. But I keep clothes now until they both grow out of them.

I bought bottles (#1 gas a g-tube so she didn’t use bottles), clothes and pacifiers. My girls were opposite seasons so I had to buy new of almost every size clothing. I’m expecting #3 in May and mostly doing the same again. New bottles and clothes but I am having a boy this time and we have no gender neutral clothing. We are thinking of upgrading our stroller. All other major baby items will be used again. Our infant car seat will expire when #3 will be transitioning into a convertible seat. We have had to buy some new furniture for our girls as they are both using their cribs as toddler beds and we needed another dresser for baby boy.

Some stuff but I had some many outfits and some brand new left over from my first daughter I didn’t have to get much for her.
