Is it ever going to happen for us?

My SO and I have been ttc for going on 8 months. I have 3 children from a previous marriage and he has none. He ttc with his ex wife for 6 years went to fertility drs and was told his sperm count was low but after a cycle of chlomid it went up to 99 million and still never conceived. She cheated on him and had a baby from it so that ended. However we’ve been ttc for 8 months ovulation tests and tracking and everything. So I’m wondering is it ever going to happen for us...for him?! When he went to the dr and did the clomid they said nothing else was wrong there’s no reason that he shouldn’t be able to have a baby, but I’m wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue. This is so hard every month seeing his face drop when I get AF 😢
