Whats he meaning?

My friend had a physical 1 time affair with a man, She cheated on her hubby of 15 years.

She tries to discuss the affair with him, according to him he says she has to much pride and trying to talk to him about how he is feelings etc is her way of saying hahaha look what I did...really shes trying to work it out..

So he sent her this last night, she sent it to me asking what is he meaning?

idk it to much way to much maybe we should have split that day but how I feel is if that were to happen you would just be with him or others idk ,
