Do what makes YOU and your fiancé happy!! Do not let anyone tell you what to do it’s your day! Congrats!! We are getting married in June and we have very specific ideas of what we want. And although family have commented, we know what we want to look back on for our big day ❤️❤️

We did our invites on vistaprint when they had a 50% off coupon, they turned out great. 
For the bridesmaid dresses, we bought them on aliexpress. I bought my dress at a bridal store but in the “prom” section but ordered it in white (it’s cheaper), we did most of our decorations

Get "the knot" wedding planner app, seriously. It helped so much. Further towards the end I stopped using it but in the beginning it helped SO MUCH because I was completely lost. 
  I combed through Pinterest for most of my wedding decoration ideas, the only professional we hired for anything was the photographer and florist, and the florist happened to be my aunt so I got lucky and got the family discount. 
However, one of my bestfriends got married after me and she ordered all her greenery and flowers from either Costco or Sam's club for a super great price. So, maybe keep that in mind if you want a lot of flowers. 
I got my dress from a discount store. When we pulled up I was super spectical because it was a thrift store on one end and a wedding dress boutique on the other. But I LOVED my dress. It was originally $1,000, but since it had been altered and worn once on the runway, I got it for $500. The funny thing was, it was altered and fit me like an absolute glove. 
If you do find a wedding dress online you love, make sure to at least go somewhere and try on a dress with the same fit to make sure you like the style on yourself before ordering. I've had friends order online and then hate the way they look in it. 
Almost all my decorations came from Hobby Lobby, Joann's or Facebook market place 🤷 
And if I could give any advice from something I learned the hard way, make sure you have the table cloths you want and don't settle for something else. I wanted purple table cloths, but my mom talked me out of it because of expense (I was paying so still don't understand why it was such a big deal). We were suppose to borrow some from the church for free, but the day of decorating it turned out they didn't have enough. We had to drive an hour and a half to buy white table cloths and then spent hours ironing them. 🤦 it was awful. That's honestly the only thing about my wedding I regret though!
