New job, new pregnancy

Hey!

So I just started a job and a week later found out we were expecting.

We had decided to take a couple months off of trying so I could learn the job and be at 1 year to get FMLA before we tried again, amazing how that works right?

We are Excited as this is our first but this is a good career job for me and I will be returning.

Has anyone experienced this? Any tips on how to discuss it with your manager?

Also, any survival tips as I’ll likely be returning after 6 weeks?
