6 weeks. Even with a c-section your body has an open wound where the placenta was. The reason to wait is for the body to properly heal and avoid an infection.

Like 7 weeks and I was horrified!!! I don't think I enjoyed it at all... I just kept telling my husband to be gentle and slow. Lol

About 8 weeks. We tried sooner but I just couldn’t because of how uncomfortable it was. I was SHOCKED. I think I missed some info somewhere along the way. I understood that with a vaginal delivery you’re naturally going to be in pain. But it didn’t occur to me it’s that way also for c’s because of the proximity of the incisions etc. I feel silly now for not realizing.
