4 ectopics???

Amie

Hi ladies! I’m new to the group, and am so glad I found you all! I would really like your opinions.

I had tubal reversal in 2012 and only have one tube. My right was removed due to undiagnosed pain and it ended up being something else entirely. That’s a whole other story though...but in April 2015, October 2017 and March and April in 2018 I had losses. I was 4-5 weeks with them all.

My doctor thinks all of these losses are ectopic. I find it hard to believe that a woman can have 4 and they all required no treatment. Have you ladies ran across anything that indicate this is possible? I feel he is biased because of my reversal. My blood work showed low progesterone, and now I’m on suppositories, but that was all that was found wrong. I spend all my time researching treatment for blocked tubes in case that’s what’s wrong, but my gut tells me that although a couple may have been, but not them all.

Any advice is appreciated! I’m so glad this group is here, but also so sorry it’s even needed. I hope we all get our rainbows!

That’s ok, may I ask have u had ur tube scanned to check for scar tissues in ur tube!? I do believe ectopic pregnancy that dissolve by them selves do cause scar tissues in ur tube!! That’s what I got told during mine! Also that it then increases the chance of it happening again!

Thank you! I get to the point I give up sometimes and others, I’m like “no, this is my body and I deserve to know what’s going on!” The doctor I’m currently seeing is a specialist, but I’m just going to have to look for a new one. I hate it because I love his staff, but I don’t know what else to do. I really appreciate your taking the time to comment, bless you!

I’ve had 3 pregnancies that have all ended in loss. The first 2 were early and I miscarried without medical intervention. The 3rd was a confirmed ectopic where I was treated with methotrexate, and then my tube ruptured weeks later and I had surgery to remove the tube. The doctors think it’s likely all my pregnancies were ectopics and the first two ended on their own. So I guess it’s possible. I’ve never had a confirmed uterine pregnancy. Hope you find some answers!
