Breech baby C-section

FTM here! I'm just curious if anyone has had their baby breech, and therefore needed a c-section, and if anything changed between scheduling that and the actual day of delivery? Like, did y'all just get to wait all the way til the scheduled day no problem, or did anyone have to go early? I'm just nervous my little one is gonna do something crazy, and wondering how common it is for baby to flip back or try to come early. I'm 37 weeks, scheduled for my c-section on April 15th.
