Does this look defective?

I had a miscarriage exactly 53 weeks ago today. I got pregnant within 3 cycles that time and have been trying since to get pregnant again. I’ve started spotting really early the last couple of months (6-8 dpo) and last month spotted for an entire week before my period showed up.

On Tuesday morning i started spotting, there were a couple of small clots, and was cramping the night before. I was for sure it was my period on the way. As i was pissed off and frustrated i called and made an appointment with my doctor (finally they’d see me since it had been a year of trying). Made my husband make an appointment to get his swimmers tested as well. Brown spotting on Wednesday. Nothing yesterday or today. Yesterday and today I’ve been completely drained and exhausted and starving. Exhaustion and hunger were my only pregnancy symptoms last time. Peed on a stick and got this. I’m going to test again in the morning. Today is 11 dpo. Maybe I’m in denial, but I’m just so convinced this is false or defective....ugh!
