Nuvaring

Hi everyone, I’m new to the Nuvaring and had a quick question for anyone on it. I was told that if I put it in before my scheduled period but after ovulation I would still at least get spotting during the time my regular period would be. That didn’t happen so I was thinking no big deal..... but it’s now been over 48 hours since I removed it for my “off week” and AF has yet to show up... should I test? Or is this normal? My OB said AF should have showed up around 3-10 hours after removal.... help
