Should I seek medical attention?

I’m 10 days postpartum & just passed a large blood clot, and have had minor aches in my lower abdomen. I’ve been getting really bad headaches and will go from sweating to freezing. This isn’t all the time and the symptoms don’t always show up at the same time. This is my 3rd child and I don’t remember this happening with the other 2

It sounds to me like you could have an infection and I would absolutely call your doctor.

If you are ever wondering if you need to call your dr then you need to call your dr. Only they can decide what’s normal for you. I hope you feel better though, it sounds like you are having a tough time

Your hormones are changing super quickly. It’s normal to get cold sweats alternating with hot. Headaches are also a normal part of postpartum hormone adjustments. I would say if your concerned about the blood clot go ahead and call the on call doc and ask them about it.
